GAETI-DAY 4 MSU Today, Friday we went to a geological outcropping and searched for fossils. Every one found something that was from the period Mississippi was covered in water. We then visited the Dunn-Siler museum and completed a scavenger hint in the musem. Thw Cobb museum across the street was very interesting, A diaroma of an Indian village in Oktibbeha county was very interesting. I ate lunch with Frank Roberts who works in the building. He and I have been friends for 30 years. After lunch we met in the computer lab for a presentation on The Long Civil Rights Movement. This generated a lot of discussion on race in the classroom. All very interesting. The writing project was good and I will use it in my classroom. Good day, lots of walking
